Lot Description

A National Rifle Association large silver medal, obv. 'N.R.A Ashburton Shield' within a laurel wreath, rev. an ancient archer and a rifle volunteer, side by side, dated in field '1300, 1500 & 1860', in exergue, 'Sit Perpetuum.', diameter 58mm, hallmarked Elkington & Co Ltd., Birmingham 1928, in original Elkington box. Together with a City and Guilds of London Institute bronze medal, Department of Technology, awarded to Arthur Edwin Hopkins 1915, and two further base medals for Bournville Works Exhibition 1913 and 1922, also awarded to A. Hopkins, all cased.  (4).
