After Sebastian Pether (early 19th century), oil on metal panel, moonlit river scene with distant sailing vessels and figures to fore, 15" x 20" (38cm x 51cm).

Panel has dents and distortion with surface scratches and marks, there is also some paint loss, crazing and lifting, some surface rust, the whole is very dirty, frame is in poor condition with losses to gilding and mouldings, frame crudely gilded, possibly sprayed.
