Condition Report

Appears in good overall condition, displaying general wear and tarnishing and some surface marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use.

Heavy tarnishing visible to the interior. Residues of polish to areas of the decoration.

A slight surface dint to the circular base.

Some surface wear and slight flattening to areas of the figure but it retains much of the detail and definition.

Hallmarked to the base and these are clear and legible. Each football with corresponding part hallmarks. They are fixed with a screw and nut to the underside. Nuts also with part hallmarks.

Footballer appears unmarked but when tested the results show around 95.8% Ag. Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns. Fellows does not guarantee the standard of silver unless an item is hallmarked. Results from electronically tested items should only be used as a guide and with caution, as false readings are possible.

Stained wood base is not original to the trophy and is of a later date.

Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
