Full Lot Description
A late Victorian plain silver cream jug on spread circular foot, hallmarked Henry Hobson & Sons, Birmingham 1897, height including handle 4" (10cm). Together with a 1930's silver lidded glass caster, hallmarked Robert Pringle & Sons, London 1939, a modern silver bud vase with filled base, Birmingham 1973, and a glass claret jug of tapered form and with silver plated mounts. Condition Report
<li>In mixed condition, all items displaying some general surface wear, marks and scratches.
<li>Some heavier tarnishing to the silver and silver plate. In particular the bud vase and claret jug mounts, which would benefit from a clean and polish.
<li>Cream jug with possible repairs around the join of the top of the handle to the rim.
<li>Caster with a few minor nibbles to glass. Some creases in the metal of the neck mount, this part is not marked. Silver lid appears to be a good fit, finial slightly compressed in to the top of the lid.
<li>Filled base of bud vase partly visible and loose. Replacement lining required.
<li>Some light rubbing to hallmarks but all are clearly legible.
