A 19th century French Sevres style porcelain and gilt metal mounted twin handled cup and cover, the cover with infant Bacchus above handles modelled as vines adorned with grapes, the body decorated with a panel of figures within a landscape on a bleu celeste ground, the cast base impressed "Ph. Mourey", 14.25" (36cm) high.

Condition Report
Handles to sides have been repaired. Gilt is dull, flat and worn. Surface is yellowed and nicotine stained, with wear to gilding including rubbing and areas of loss. The bleu celeste ground is worn and marked to glaze. Some small cracks to top edge of body.
