A mid Victorian gold foil-back gem brooch, with matching earrings.

Length of brooch 6.1cms. Length of earrings 5.2cms. 19gms.
With period case.

Condition Report

<li>Overall condition good. Some wear and discolouration typical of age. Some minor dents and marks to the metal.

<li>Brooch with glass panel reverse. Glass in good condition, with light abrasions.

<li>Cannetille work to the earrings with some minor losses.

<li>Gems are foil-back. Appear a medium greenish blue hue. Gems in good condition, with some minor abrasions.

<li>Earrings with hook fittings for pierced ears.

<li>Period case, possibly not original, wear and damage to the silk.
