Lot Description

An early 20th century 18ct gold and platinum, aquamarine and pearl two-stone crossover ring, with rose-cut diamond shoulders.

Aquamarine calculated weight 1.22cts, based on estimated dimensions of 7 by 7 by 4.6mms.
French re-strike marks. Ring size T1/2. 5.1gms.
Pearl untested for natural origin.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. band shows evidence of resizing, with file marks to the outside base of the band.

<li>Possible replacement gems.

<li>Diamonds appear fairly bright. Some with small nicks and abrasions.

<li>Aquamarine is a medium very slightly greenish blue hue, well saturated, with good clarity.<p>

<li>Aquamarine in good condition.<p>

<li>Pearl is a slightly creamy white colour, with rose and greenish overtones. Slightly baroque, off-round form, with some slightly uneven surface features and good lustre.

<li>Pearl in good condition, with some minor abrasions.

<li>Estimated dimensions of pearl 7.5 by 6.5 by 6mms.

<li>Pearl untested for natural origin.

<li>French re-strike marks for 18ct gold and platinum.
