Full Lot Description
Four silver thimbles by Charles Horner, three decorated with stylised flower motifs and one with a square grid pattern, all hallmarked Chester, one dated 1912, other date letters worn or unclear. Together with four other similarly decorated thimbles including a late Victorian example, three hallmarked with various dates and makers and one marked sterling silver. Gross weight 1.11 ozt (34.4 grams). (8).

<li>Multiple item lot in mixed condition, all thimbles displaying surface marks, scratches, nicks and general wear throughout.
<li>Some with quite heavy tarnishing and would benefit from a clean and polish.
<li>Some slightly misshapen around the rims.
<li>Five examples with little holes in the metal, including two of the Horner thimbles.
<li>Hallmarks rubbed and some partly worn with some punches illegible.
