United States of America, Daughters of Founders & Patriots of America 1807-1898 gold medal, an eight-pointed star of white and blue enamels with ball finials and a small red enamel star between each arm, obverse with central panel depicting two men shaking hands, reverse with the American eagle emblem, engraved 'Ida Johnston Raymond' to one arm and numbered 1490 to another, with striped silk ribbon. <li>Sold without provenance.
<li>Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing.
<li>Some damage and losses to the enamel detail of the star.
<li>Also damage to some of the ball finials.
<li>Some dirt residues to the central figurative panel.
<li>Ribbon appears faded, worn and frayed and detached from the bar clasp.
<li>In a hinged case but not original.
<li>Varied readings when tested. Some parts testing at over 10ct.
