A George V silver vase with a spread base leading to a plain tapered stem with an anthemion decorated band below an anthemion and gadroon rim, hallmarked James Dixon & Sons Ltd., Sheffield 1917, height 8" (20 cm). Together with an Edwardian silver bud vase with a spread filled base leading to a scroll and foliate design tapered stem and plain flared rim, hallmarked Chester 1906, height 7" (17.5 cm). Gross weight 12.39ozt (385.5 grams). (2).

<li>Both vases display some surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with age and use.
<li>Both with some tarnishing and would benefit from a good clean and a polish, especially the bud vase.
<li>The George V vase has some minor dents amd heavier scratches around the stem, and the base does not sit flat, causing the vase to wobble slightly.
<li>Hallmarks legible with minor rubbing. Maker's mark to Edwardian vase partly worn.
