A late 19th century 9ct gold sapphire and old and single-cut diamond crescent brooch.

Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct.

Estimated total sapphire weight 2.85cts.

<li>Replacement fittings.

<li>Small dents and minor marks in keeping with wear.

<li>Diamonds well matched. One diamond with a chip, another with a nick.

<li>Sapphires of medium blue hue. Slight colour zoning visible. Minor abrasions.<p>

<li>The estimated total sapphire weight calculated on dimensions of 2.4 by 2.4 by 1.4mms of the smallest sapphire to 5.4 by 5.2 by 2.5mms of the largest sapphire.

<li>Mount tests as approximately 9ct gold.
