A mid-19th century French 18ct gold and gilt bronze brooch, depicting a scene of bacchanalian revelry.

French assay marks. Length 7.2cms. 17.2gms.

<li>The pin and verso electronically tests as 18ct gold. The figural scene as gold plate.
