An early 20th century inkstand, the carved oak base with applied copper panel engraved 'the tower of the Abbey church of S.S Peter and Paul Shrewsbury was erected about 1360- this inkstand was made of the ancient oak taken from the tower at its restoration in 1908', and fitted twin glass inkwells.
