Full Lot Description
A Victorian Scottish silver small quaich, with pierced scroll and fox head handles, and circular body embossed with game birds, hallmarked James McKay, Edinburgh 1848, length including handles 4.25" (10.8cm). Together with a modern Irish silver plain coin dish, hallmarked Dublin 1973. Weight 3.17 ozt (98.8 grams). (2).

<li>Quaich displays general surface scratches, wear and tarnishing throughout, in keeping with age and use.
<li>Inner bowl of quaich is especially tarnished and would benefit from a clean and polish.
<li>Crests on front and back of quaich are rubbed.
<li>Polish residue is evident on base, bottom and inner contours of quaich.
<li>Quaich decoration displays minor surface scratches and dints throughout.
<li>There is some rubbing to hallmarks, but marks are still legible.
