An Edwardian silver hip flask, of rounded rectangular form and slightly curved, with removable silver cup to lower section, and a bulbous hinged lid with bayonet style closure. Hallmarked Sampson Mordan & Co, London 1902. Height 4.75" (12cm), gross weight 4.86 ozt (151.2 grams).

<li>Displaying some expected surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and general use.
<li>With several surface knocks and dints throughout.
<li>Some visible solder repairs along some of the seams, particularly notable all along the base (also with cracks), and on one shoulder around the neck (on the side with hinged arm).
<li>Bayonet closure appears in working order and closes securely; some cork still present.
<li>The removal and replacing of cup has caused some heavier scratches and contact marks to main body.
<li>Some heavier tarnishing, dirt and staining to interior of removable cup; appears to be a good tight fit to main body.
<li>Hallmarks along base of main body significantly rubbed, worn and mostly indistinct; hallmarks to cup rubbed but still clearly legible; further lion passant and a partly rubbed maker's mark to neck.
