An antique Japanese 'Wakizashi', the shagreen handle with inlaid bronze fuchi and tsuba, the wooden scabbard with fitted 'kozuka' grotesque mask carry ring and applied dragon detailed terminal, with associated later, carved hardwood stand, overall blade length 15.75" (40cm), overall length 23" (58.5cm).
