A late George III silver snuff box, the rounded rectangular form with slightly concave sides and reeded decoration all over, and hinged lid with central vacant panel. Hallmarked John Shaw, Birmingham 1819. Length 3" (7.5cm), gross weight 2.41 ozt (75 grams).

<li>Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with age and use.
<li>Some slightly heavier wear around edges and corners with minor surface nicks and dints; also a small hole to one of the base corners.
<li>Some surface wear and rubbing to areas of the reeded decoration, causing very slight loss of definition to some areas but overall appears in good order.
<li>Hinges appear in good working order and lid closes securely.
<li>Gilt interior with some surface wear, tarnishing and stained marks, sticker mark and other residues.
<li>Hallmarks located to inner rim of lid, some rubbing but all still legible.
