Full Lot Description
A George IV silver small vinaigrette, with foliate motif engraved to one side, foliate and cross hatched decoration surrounding a central cartouche to the other, upon a chain. Hallmarked William Simpson, Birmingham 1828. Together with an Edwardian example, of shaped, rectangular form, the hinge opening to a pierced grill with floral motif, with loop attachment. Hallmarked Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd., London 1904. Gross overall weight 27.7 grams.

<li>Items with surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
<li>George IV example is quite tired, with dark tarnishing and slight bashes through out.
<li>George IV example also does not close fully, and displays a small loss towards the hinge.
<li>Chain is not tested, and may not be silver.
<li>Pierced grill shows some slight nibbles.
<li>Edwardian example is slightly compressed to centre of base, and shows deeper surface scratches through out.
<li>Edwardian displays polish residue and dirt to recesses of shaped design, around hinge and edges.
<li>Hinged lid and grille in good working order.
