Full Lot Description
A late Victorian silver cup, of flared form, with roped band in relief across central body, hallmarked Horace Woodward & Co, London 1890. Together with a George V silver example, of wide, squat form with Roman soldier head border engraved below rim, hallmarked George Nathan & Ridley Hayes, Chester 1911. Height of Victorian example 3" (7.5cm), length of both examples including handle 5.5" (14cm). Overall weight 10.81 ozt (336.3 grams).

<li>Items in varying conditions, both with general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
<li>Victorian example shows a small bash to the rim.
<li>Victorian example with polish residue within interior decoration.
<li>George V example is in very poor condition, the silver extremely tarnished and dirty.

<li>Interior bowl of George V example shows some deeper surface scratches, and impressions of the engraving on exterior.
