A 1930's silver and enamel compact case, of shaped form, having bright green border enclosing silver enamel to hinged lid, with applied jade and marcasite decoration, hallmarked Adie Brothers Ltd, Birmingham 1933. Together with an Austrian example, with scrolled detail surrounding enamel panel with floral motifs, with post 1921 Austrian mark for 900 standard. (2)

<li>Green enamel border to compact shows some notable losses, and silver panel shows some deeper scratching.

<li>Closure to Austrian example is quite stiff to open.
<li>Austrian example shows some polish residue to closure.
<li>Enamel to Austrian example displays scratches and dirt.
