A George IV silver pierced dish of circular form, with pierced fruit and foliate motifs and swing handle of conforming design, the whole upon a spreading circular foot with shaped rim. Hallmarked London 1822. Diameter 10" (16 cm), weight 20.93ozt (651 grams).

<li>There are residue polish marks to the decorative details.
<li>There is clear evidence of heavy repair work to the handle in the form of visible floods of solder and a join line.
