Full Lot Description

A large late 19th century painted wooden dolls house with miniature furniture and contents, the whole of detached form, the roof with balustrade rail, applied crest and date 1896, above a solid panel, painted simulated brickwork front, fitted with six glazed windows, French doors and panelled front door opening to reveal staircase leading to first floor and landing, the interior with six rooms adjoined by plain panel hinged doors, the back of the house enclosed by an arrangement of seven hinged doors, each giving access to individual rooms upon a turned pillar stand, terminating in brass and ceramic casters, overall height including stand 50.25" (127.5cm), length 52.75" (134.5cm), depth of house 17.75" (45.5cm), depth of stand 19" (48.25cm).

<li>A six piece wooden bedroom suite in the manner of Schneegas, comprising of single bed, double door wardrobe, mirror back dressing table, three drawer chest, washstand and towel rail, blue & white painted ceramic bedroom wares and similar turned wooden painted items, etc.

<li>Two wooden framed single beds, pair of bedroom chairs with Art Nouveau design fabric, pair of bedside cabinets, mirror door wardrobe, washstand, Ruskin pottery crystalline glazed miniature plant pot, watercolour portrait painting of a lady, etc.

<li>An Arts & Crafts style wooden long case clock, Vienna style wooden cased wall clock, two tier buffet cabinet, mirror back sideboard, writing desk and chair, oak table with tapered turned supports, a similar arm chair, a gilt soft metal, amber and opaline glass ceiling oil light fitting in the manner of Erhard & Sohne, soft white metal vase and tazza, miniature blue & white latticinio glass tea for two set, a pair of green glass & soft white metal mounted chocolate type glasses, German painted metal simulated malachite ashtray vesta holder & matching candlestick, soft white metal and alabaster tray with glass decanter, jug and set of beakers, portico style desk clock, a Gabriel Fourmaintraux of Desvres France miniature ceramic faience desk stand inkwell with removeable well and cover,  a gilt framed three quarter length miniature portrait painting of a lady, etc.
