Full Lot Description
A fine boardroom or ship builders model of the Super High Speed Cargo Liner “Strathardle” of The Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company, delivered in January 1967 built by the “Mitsui Shipbuilding & Engineering Co Ltd, Tamano Works Japan”, the metal hull finished in maroon, green and white, with gold plated propeller, dark green painted decks, gold plated fittings, masts and rigging, mounted within a glazed case with makers plaque, overall measurement of the case 104cm long, 34.5cm wide and 47.5cm high.
<li>Built in 1967 by Mitsui, Tamano Japan, named Strathardle of P&O London, 1979 renamed Ancham, Scrapped in 1986.<p>
