A mid 20th century ventriloquist dummy attributed to John Leonard "Len” Insull (1883-1974), the hand painted papier mache head with striking dark blue glass eyes, typical rosy red cheeks, fully operating upper lip, opening mouth showing teeth and side way moving eyes, on a papier mache and composition body with arms, lower limbs and feet, the whole dressed in a white shirt and grey striped suit, 97cm tall.
