A mid Victorian gold old-cut diamond and enamel frilled bow brooch.

<li>General marks, discolouration and wear. Some file marks to reverse.
<li>Pin is base metal replacement, slightly loose.
<li>Diamonds are fairly bright and lively.
<li>Enamel with moderate wear, some areas deficient.

<li>Electronically tests as approximately 20ct gold, presumed gilt interference.

<li>Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
