An Edwardian silver double sovereign case, of lozenge form with scrolled engraving surrounding monogram, with ring attachment, hallmarked Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings (Frank) Shepherd, Birmingham 1904. Together with a 1920's silver bi-colour and engine-turned matches case, hallmarked Bravingtons Ltd, Birmingham 1929 and a mother-of pearl handled pen knife, hallmarked William Needham, Sheffield 1927. Gross weight inclusive of other materials 2.47 ozt (77 grams). (3)

Items show general to moderate surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
Sovereign case is quite darkly tarnished, and would benefit from a clean and polish.
Push lock to sovereign case is in good working order.
Spring mechanisms to sovereign holders are in good working condition.
Silver to matches case is very bright and shiny.
Interior to matches case shows some deeper scratches.
Blade to penknife is quite stiff, with some discolouration to mother-of-pearl.
Hallmarks are clear and legible.
Gross weight is inclusive of all materials.
