An open faced pocket watch by John Hewitt & Son. Silver case, hallmarked Chester 1832. Case width 51mm. Numbered 53181. Signed key wind full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth leaver escapement. Silvered dial. Together with a silver open faced pocket watch by John Forrest.

<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
<li>Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches. Visible marks at seventh hour marker. Scratch between fourth and fifth hour markers.
<li>Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Rust to central pillar and minute hand.
<li>Glass has scratches and marks.
<li>Case shows scratches, marks and dints.
<li>Hinges appear intact.
<li>Crown has scratches and marks.
<p>This lot does not come with box or papers.<p>Additional watch is non-functioning and may require attention. Cracks to dial and chips to glass.
