Lot Description

An early 20th century platinum and 18ct gold, aquamarine, ruby and old-cut diamond cluster ring.

Aquamarine calculated weight 3.80cts, based on estimated dimensions of 10.5 by 9 by 5.5mms.
Estimated total diamond weight 0.65ct, G-I colour, VS2-P1 clarity.
Ring size K1/2. 8gms.

Slight surface marks and minor discolouration.
Some replacement gems.
Diamonds appear bright and fairly well matched.
Some diamonds set at an angle.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
Aquamarine appears a light medium very slightly greenish blue. Central window effect.
Rubies appear a fairly well matched moderately purplish red. Varied abrasions. One cabochon gem.
Length of ring head 1.8cms.
