A mid-20th century silver hip flask, of curved shape with globular bayonet lid closure. Hallmarked maker's mark G J H & Co, Birmingham 1947. Height 5" (12.7cm), gross weight 5.43 ozt (169 grams).

Condition Report
Item is in fair condition, showing some surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
Twist action and hinge to lid is quite stiff, but in working order.
The central body shows some more notable dints and deeper scratches.
Rim to top and base shows some polish residue.
Maker's mark is a little rubbed, with a small but quite deep dent to edge.
