Full Lot Description
Three early 20th century Japanese Meiji / Taisho period Satsuma dishes, the first of rectangular form decorated with two cartouche panels, one with buildings in a garden, the other ladies sat in a garden, red painted character mark, possibly for Fujisan with partial paper label, 9.5cm x 7.5cm, the second of square form with a diamond shaped cartouche depicting figures under cover and in a garden with Mount Fuji in the distance, all against a densely patterned gilt and blue ground, partial gilt mark, 13.5cm sq and the last of rectangular form with a central scene of figures sitting and in conversation with a blue and gilt patterned edge, painted mark, 14cm x 11.5cm (3)

- Smallest - crazed with some rubbing to the gilding.
- Square - crazed with some rubbing to the gilding and minor scuff marks. Some stray blue to the underside
- Rectangular - visibly crazed with rubbing to the gilding, particulary to the patterned ground and rim edge.
