Lot Description

A pair of Burmese ruby and graduated old-cut diamond earrings, suspended from pear-shape old-cut diamond surmounts.

Verbal from GCS, stating Burma (Mogok), no heat.
Ruby calculated total weight 3.01cts, based on estimated dimensions.
Estimated total diamond weight 1.80cts, H-K colour, SI1-P1 clarity.
Length 3.2cms. 5.9gms.

Diamonds appear bright and fairly well matched.
One pear-shape diamond with nick/small chip to the upper facets.
Rubies appear a fairly well matched slightly purplish, pinky red.
Calculated weight 1.35cts, based on estimated dimensions of 9.7 by 7.9 by 2.1mms.
Calculated weight 1.66cts, based on estimated dimensions of 9.8 by 8.1 by 2.5mms.
One ruby has moderately shallow line of chips to the pavillion.
Presumed resplacement screw back fittings for non-pierced ears.
