A selection of George III silver table spoons by Hester Bateman, comprising two Old English pattern pairs, one with bright cut monogram and the other having initial engraving, a single, similar example and a Hanoverian example with initial engraving to underside of terminal. Hallmarked London 1778, 1785, 1783 and 1776. Overall weight 13 ozt (408.4 grams).

Condition Report
- Items are in fair condition, in consideration of age, all showing general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
- All bowls show deeper scratches and nicks.
- Most examples display some slight misshaping, evident on close inspection, to tips of bowls.
- Hanoverian example shows an small, inwards bash to bowl.
- Silver is overall bright and shiny.
- Hallmarks are clear and legible to all lots.
