A Russian silver and niello snuff box, the rounded rectangular decorated all over with foliate scrolls, and vacant circular panel to the hinged lid. With 84 zolotnik mark and maker's mark. Length 2.25" (5.5cm), weight 1.89 ozt (59 grams).

Condition Report
•Appears in fairly good overall condition.
•Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing.
•Some slightly heavier wear around edges and corners.
•Hinges appear in good working order and closes securely; lid rises very slightly on one side when closed.
•Interior with some heavier tarnishing and dirt residues and traces of gilding.
•Marks struck to rim and reverse of lid; city mark a little distorted, possibly Moscow.
