An Edwardian silver vesta case, of curved, rectangular form with enamelled scene of large country house to central body. Hallmarked Horton & Allday, Birmingham 1908. Length 2" (5cm), gross weight 1.06 ozt (33 gram).

- Item is in fair condition, showing general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
- Enamel shows some scratching, evident on close inspection.
- Edges to enamel appear slightly chipped, when viewed very closely.
- Hinged lid is in good working order and closes well.
- Interior to hinged lid, striking edge and around rim shows some thicker polish residue.
- Area around ring attachment shows some slight compression.
