Two stirrup cups, one modelled as a stag and the other a hare, upon plain, tapered body. Stamped with unidentified marks.Height of both approx. 3.25" (8.2cm), weight 11.67 ozt (363 grams).

Condition Report
- Items show surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
- Texture to area of cups nearest animal head terminals appears quite lumpy.
- Hare example displays a significant repair to length of cup and some small holes.
- Stag example shows notable holes, just below animal head.
- Rim to stag cup appears slightly misshapen and bumpy.
- Both examples display holes to heads, most notably to rabbit nose.
- Unidentified marks are rubbed and obscured.
- Items test between 90-95% Ag. Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
