Full Lot Description
A matched mid-20th century silver five-piece tea service, comprising tea, coffee and hot water pots, a twin-handled sugar bowl and a cream jug, each of plain bellied form and raised on bun feet, with ebonised handles and finials. Hallmarked Joseph Gloster Ltd., Birmingham 1951/52/58/60. Maximum height of coffee pot including handle 9.5" (24cm), approximate gross weight 82.49 ozt (2565.6 grams). Contained in a large presentation case.

Condition Report
- All pieces displaying some surface wear, marks and scratches, commensurate with age and general use.
- With some fairly heavy tarnishing to some parts and all pieces would benefit from a clean and polish.
- A few surface dints and bumps are visible.
- Also some visible seam lines with possible repairs along some.
- With bashes to some of the bun feet, particularly on the cream jug.
- Hinged lids all appear in working order; lid of hot water pot rises slightly; finials are a little loose.
- Hallmarks appear a little rubbed in parts but all still legible; hinged lids with part hallmarks.
- Case with expected general wear with some damage and losses; also some tears, dirt and discolouration to interior.
