A late Victorian silver caster, having ornate, alternating scrolled and foliate border below oblique gadrooned girdle to central body, the pierced caster of conforming design. Hallmarked Josiah Williams & Co (George Maudsley Jackson & David Landsborough Fullerton), London 1897. Height 16cm, weight 5.6ozt (174.5g).

- Item is in fair condition, showing some general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
- Silver is quite bright and shiny.
- Some piercing appears slightly nibbled.
- Item wobbles slightly on flat surface when pressure is exerted.
- Maker's mark is rubbed and obscured to cover but hallmarks are overall clear and legible.
