Full Lot Description
A Chinese export silver ice bucket of scalloped form with glades of flowers enclosing alternating, plain circular cartouches between decorative borders, having twin, hinged handles, together with a pair of tongs with claw terminals and foliate engraving handles. Stamped with maker's and retailer's mark. Maximum height of bucket including upright handles 19cm, overall weight 11ozt (339.8g).

Condition Report
- Items show some surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
- Recesses to decoration on ice bucket show some darker tarnishing and polish residue.
- Some definition appears to be lost to decorative borders.
- One plain cartouche is quite bumpy and appears planished. Other cartouches display some deeper nicks and scratches.
- Feet are slightly compressed into base, showing slight indentations.
- Twin hinged handles are not aligned, with one taller than the other and a notable gape between the two.
- Tongs are slightly misaligned, with one claw slightly overlapping the other.
- Decoration to tongs is indented into underside.
- Silver to both is quite dark, but quite shiny.
