Full Lot Description
An early 20th century mesh bag upon filigree mount with chain handle, each mesh layer having zig-zag, fringed edge. Hallmarked Chester import 1913. Length of mount 18.5cm, length from clasp to lower edge of mesh approx. 22cm. Gross weight 9.8ozt (305g).

Condition Report
- Item shows general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
- Filigree mount appears misshapen and compressed, notable bent towards one edge.
- Edges of two mounts do not fit together well due to misshaping, with some overlapping and gapes evident around bent corner. There are also some gaping around closure to mounts to other corner.
- Hallmarks are very minute, but clear and legible and are missing maker's mark.
- Clasp closure is in good working order.
- Mesh is quite thick, and appears intact.
