Lot Description

An early 20th century 18ct gold heron brooch, with old-cut diamond, ruby and garnet highlights.
May be worn as a brooch.

Stamped 18ct. Length 5.2cms. 14.2gms.

Slight surface marks.
Minor pitting.
Replacement clasp, possible replacement jump ring/repair for one of the pendant fittings.
Diamond appears bright.
Estimated diamond weight 0.10ct, H-I colour, SI clarity.
Bird's eye appears to be a garnet.
Probable replacement garnet to the line of rubies on a wing.
Rubies appear well matched with a fairly bright, slightly purplish, pinky red.
