A late Victorian gold garnet and vari-cut diamond star brooch.
Old-cut diamond estimated weight 0.25ct.
Length 2.6cms. 7.2gms.

Surface scratches and minor marks.
Varied discolouration.
Pin slightly loose at hinge.
Diamonds appear fairly bright and well matched.
Estimated total rose-cut diamond weight under 0.10ct.
Individual size of rose-cut diamonds and setting of old-cut diamond prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
Garnet presumed foil back and appears a deep red.
Fleabite nibble toward the girdle.
