Full Lot Description
Five assorted caddy spoons, comprising three shovel examples, one with geometric and oval engraving, and one with engraved foliate sprig, both hallmarked Birmingham 1810, William Pugh and Thropp & Taylor, and a smaller, plain example, hallmarked John Bettridge, Birmingham 1818; the other two spoons hallmarked to various makers, Birmingham 1857 and Sheffield 1913. Overall weight 1.6ozt (50.7g). (5).

Condition Report
- Items show varying degrees of surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
- Example with flower sprig decoration is in best condition out of lot, having a minor bash to terminal and minor misshaping to rim of bowl.
- Handle and terminal to example with geometric engraving is crushed and misshapen.
- Smaller shovel example is very misshapen to rim, darkly tarnished and shows overt glue repair to join of handle, inside bowl.
- Victorian and Sheffield examples are very darkly tarnished, and would benefit from a deep clean.
- Exterior rim edge to Sheffield example shows a notable bash.
