A 1920's silver mounted vesta case, of compressed oval form with applied badge for Cheshire Volunteer Regiment, the interior with pull out slide opening action and striking edge. Hallmarked W H Haseler Ltd., Birmingham 1926. Length 6.2cm, gross weight 1.9ozt (59.6g).

Condition Report
- Item is quite tired condition, showing general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
- Silver is quite dull, and would benefit from a clean and polish.
- Edges to base are warped, with some deeper nicks and deep bashes.
- Underside shows some light bashes.
- Slide action interior is in good working order.
- Interior is very blackened.
- Badge with loss of enamel to shield, and darker marks surrounding badge.
