A late 18th to early 19th century portrait of a bewigged gentleman, dressed in a patterned waistcoat with grey blue overcoat, white cravat and powdered wig, unsigned, image size 75cm x 62cm

- Framed - 95cm x 82.5cm
- Relined, with replacement stretcher back.
- Visible rippling to the centre and right upper.
- Damage to gilt frame, with section missing to right side.
- Scratch to right side, at level with chin.
- Very dusty.
- Revarnished.
- Has been removed from a damp/cold house
