A late 19th century Grand Tour style black marble and brass rotunda library portico with five fluted pillars enclosing a figure of a gladiator type soldier, height 29cm, damages

Condition Report
- The top dome could be a replacement as it looks lesser quality that the base rim and the colour doesn't match
- Very dirty to the surface with white spotting
- Some minor nibbles to the marble edge
- The very underside of the lid (only visible when turned upside down) looks to be cracked.
- There is a slight opening to the metal band at the bottom where the two edges do not quite meet
- Has been removed from a damp/cold house
