An early 20th century Austrian 14ct gold floral engraved cigarette case, with synthetic sapphire push piece.
Austrian marks, maker's mark M.V
Length 11cms. 148.6gms.

Slight surface scratches and minor marks. Varied, slight discolouration.
Sapphires in closed settings, appear a well matched deep blue, presumed synthetic from apparent lack of inclusions.
One sapphire broken.
