A Victorian silver and gold sapphire, pink sapphire and vari-cut diamond fly brooch.

Sapphire calculated weight 1.76cts, based on estimated dimensions of 5.7 by 5.4 by 5.3mms.
Estimated total old-cut diamond weight 0.90ct, H-I colour, SI2-P1 clarity.
Length 3.1cms. 4.9gms.

Replacement leg and antenna.
Replacement clasp.
Diamonds to the body are old-cuts.
Diamonds to the wings and head are rose-cuts.
Diamonds appear fairly bright and well matched.
Three old-cuts with nicks/small chips.
One probable replacement diamond to a wing.
Individual size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate weight, colour and clarity assessment.
Sapphire appears a deep blue. Facet-edge abrasion and nibbles.
One pink sapphire eye is a replacement, one cabochon, one inverted circular-cut.
