A Georgian portrait miniature, depicting a boy in red coat and white collar, by Thomas Arrowsmith, with hairwork reverse.
Length 8.6cms. 48.9gms.
With associated case.
Thomas Arrowsmith was deaf and dumb, exhibited at the R.A.

Surface scratches and minor marks.
Stated length does not include the detachable jump ring.
Hairwork to reverse contains seed pearl accents including monogram, possibly MD. Blue glass surround. Sticker to hairwork glass cover, 111.
Red leather case shows appreciable deterioration to the silk lining. General wear.
