Lot Description

A 19th century gold alternating green and brown zircon bracelet.

Apparent largest green zircon calculated weight 1.52cts, based on estimated dimensions of 7.8 by 5.8 by 3.5mms.
Length 19cms. 11gms.

Surface scratches and minor marks.
Zircon appear a deep medium slightly bluish green and yellowish brown through slightly orangey yellowish brown hues.
One green zircon with small chip under a claw.
Electronically tests as approximately 17-18ct gold, safety chain tests as approximately 9ct gold.
Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
