A late Victorian gold ruby and old-cut diamond marquise-shape ring.
Ruby calculated weight 1ct, based on estimated dimensions of 7.1 by 5.3 by 2.8mms.
Estimated total diamond weight 1.60cts, G-I colour, VS2-P1 clarity.
Ring size N. 5.3gms.

Condition Report
Scratches and small marks.
Band resized, section tot he band of different colour, slight pitting and marks.
Band slightly off round, file nicks to the edge of the band.
Some claws worn, some re-tipped.
Diamonds appear fairly bright and well matched.
Four diamonds chipped.
Ruby appears a medium moderately purplish red.
Length of ring head 2.6cms.
